Artist Comment

Art didn't bother with a polite knock on my door; it burst in like a whirlwind, swept me off my feet, and left me gleefully drenched in a colourful tornado of inspiration. Art chose me as its mischievous accomplice, filling my days with a symphony of ideas, artistic endeavours and the occasional spirited debates with my paintbrushes, tools, and camera lenses.

My work draws inspiration from the intricate beauty and complexities of life, exploring the relationship between vulnerability and strength, identity and belonging. I seek to incite a profound emotional response, to awaken dormant feelings and challenge preconceived notions.

By inviting viewers to engage with the artwork on a personal level, I hope to spark conversations, challenge perspectives, and forge connections. Given life's complexity, I use a variety of mediums to adapt each piece to suit its unique demands. I want my art to serve as a catalyst for introspection and empathy. To encourage individuals to reflect on their own experiences, as well as the experiences of others, and to embrace the beauty inherent in ordinary objects and moments.
