Bio

As a multi-disciplinary artist based in Meanjin/Brisbane, Tanya Clark pushes the possibilities of photography, sculpture and painting to explore motion, vulnerability, strength, identity and belonging. She carefully selects materials such as reclaimed wood and repurposed objects, allowing their inherent histories and textures to amplify her exploration of the nuances of the human experience.

Having exhibited in galleries across Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, Clark is recognised for her ability to weave compelling narratives through dynamic forms. Collaborating with renowned artists such as Karina Smigla-Bobinski, she continues to expand her approach to
interactivity, exploring how art transforms shared spaces.
